Yesterday, I tweeted a flippant post about producers being too occupied with the upcoming ADE festival and not posting any good music here in the first week of October.
Today, I deserve a slap to the hand or head, your choice. Seems it's not the producers "sleeping in" (despite the title you see before you), but me.
Phil Good released this gem three days ago, well within ADE crunch time, and it's good.
As of late, whether it be my brain is simply fried and lazy, I'm finding a surprising number of tracks taking me by the throat and challenging my genre descriptions; the tone of my reviews.
"Sleeping In" might not be profound to some, but with the 50 some tracks I've already listened to today, I find Good's contribution to be a stand-out.
Enjoy and repeat.
