Why do we like this?

You might remember Phia from roughly two months ago when we pickd up her cover of Radiohead's "15 Step."

Turns out she's on a bit of a creative kick right now, with this new single "So Far, So Close," a homage to her adopted home, Berlin.

The single layers beautiful vocals over upbeat instrumentation, managing to keep things simultaneously sparse and yet robust (yes, that's sort of an oxymoron).

You can grab the track as part of a "pay-what-you-want" deal, with all proceeds going to an organization supporting newly-arrived immigrants to Berlin.
