A couple weeks I had the pleasure of participating in a talk at the Red Bull Studios alongside Mike Zietsman, the lead singer of PHFAT. Up until that time, I'd heard their band's name thrown around but hadn't actually had the chance to sit down and give it a listen.
Flash forward to today and we're stoked to be premiering a new single by the duo (Mike x Narch) titled "Panic At Cluster B."
It's a hard-hitting hip-hop track that fuses South African sounds (a la Die Antwoord) with powerful instrumentation. The net result goes so far as to slap listeners in the face, as if to say "HEY! WE'RE PHFAT! STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND LISTEN TO THIS!"
Those of you in Oz can catch the band on tour. They've got seven more stops (as of my writing this), including shows in Bondi, Melbourne, Brisbane and more. Full lineup here.
