Why do we like this?

Say what you like about Yasiin Bey (the artist formerly known as Mos Def), but the one thing you can't deny is that the kid can rap. Now residing in Cape Town, South Africa, the rapper has collaborated with local artist Petite Noir on his first single "Till We Ghosts."

The original track actually premiered two years ago, but this Yasiin Bey featuring update brings a new freshness to "Till We Ghosts." The two different vocals -- Noir's soulful hum and Bey's signature nasal flow -- complement each other well over the animated, ethereal production.

Bey is on point while Noir is a talent to be savoured. Here's hoping these two continue to collaborate in the future.
