The Syracuse band Petite League has been at it for a few years now making their own brand of pop infused garage rock with albums like Rips One into the Night and No Hitter. Even having Rips One into the Night getting a special vinyl pressing with Vinyl Me Please.
They have recently released a rework of one of their older acoustic tracks, "Raspberry Vines," off of No Hitter, to celebrate that album finally seeing the vinyl release it deserves.
The new version adds plenty of fuzz and a little extra oomph to really help the track transport you back to the days when bands like The Strokes were just starting to put their stamp on indie rock, reminding me how all you really need in life is some power chords and overdrive to make a great track.
You can get your hands on the new vinyl over on Petite League's Bandcamp page, which is perfect for long summer afternoons.
