Why do we like this?

"R.O.O.T." ain't a tree root. It's actually an acronym that reads "realize our own talents," and I think this song is a pretty good manifestation of that.

We actually picked up on this New York-based producer's work roughly a year ago when he did a reinterpretation of Phoenix's "Girlfriend." You can hear that here -- it's quite different to this one, which reminds me more of Boards of Canada.
