Fourteen years after releasing Petestrumentals, legendary producer Pete Rock comes back with his new instrumental album Petestrumentals 2, released last month on independent label Mello Music Group.

"My My Baby" is without question my favorite track on the album. Few artists can create so much with so little. 

First, get an empty channel and add some dope boom-bap beat on it. Then, sample David Porter's "The Way You Do the Things You Do" and add it to your nascent work. Finish by adding a pinch of piano at the top.

Congrats, you just got a simple yet beautiful hip-hop masterpiece.
