Why do we like this?
This morning I was rushed awake only to be greeted by a horrid two day hangover. However, after the first bar of this track, the hangover was gone, I was wide-awake, and I had just found my new favorite song.
Del the Funky Homosapien has been apart of the hip-hop scene for some time. He has collaborated with the most exciting names in underground hip-hop, including Gorillaz, Hieroglyphics and the amazing Ice Cube. While I haven't kept up with his music in recent times, when I saw this on top of my news feed I just knew I had to listen.
While I had already heard of Del, what's exciting is that I now get to familiarize myself with Pete Cannon, Dr Syntax (of The Mouse Outfit), and Jehst. This tune is absolute heat and I am sure there are more tracks that I'm going to discover by listening through their libraries.
The single is to be released on the 17th of February. Also worth noting that Pete Cannon & Dr Syntax have a new album out in March 2014 entitled Killer Combo.
