Perseus is a magical individual. Founder of the always amazing French Express label, this man is also an incredibly talented producer. It's not hard to imagine that when a new, enigmatic label can attract talent like Moon Boots and Issac Tichauer, the person behind it must know a thing or two themselves.
Dropping the delightful "Shadow of the Beast," Perseus shows immediately that his past releases were not fantastic by accident. Subtly placed synths waft about the background as childlike vocals sing lamentations about the painful side of love. The balance and striking delicacy of this slowly rolling R&B infused house track showcases the talent and sense of mystery that categorizes any French Express artist, but none quite like Perseus.
