Why do we like this?

French house master Pépé Bradock's 1999 track "Deep Burnt" is a bonafide classic.

In the Freddie Hubbard sampling track, Bradock laid the blueprint for dozens of strings-driven house songs, but very few are up to the levels of Bradock's standard bearer.

It is a perfect time to feature "Deep Burnt," as the track, which is usually as much as $75 on Discogs, is now being reissued on Bradock's Avatisme label. Order a copy here.
