Why do we like this?

Looking for an upbeat, indie pop track to carry you through the day? Well you'll probably need to look no further than Penguin Prison's new single "Calling Out."

You might recognize the band from their role in RAC's quite-successful original track "Hollywood," for which they provided the vocals. This new single seems to follow a slightly similar vibe, keeping the tempo light and providing crisp production at each and every turn. That's likely no accident: some big names helped refine the song, including We Are Oliver and Andrew Maury.

No word on whether "Calling Out" signals the approach of a new EP or album, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it make the cut.
