Why do we like this?
Why post an old Deadmau5 remix as today's Song of the Day? Because I wanted to. And because I think it's been a little bit too long since we've featured good house like this. We need balance, right? And so this seems appropriate.
The last time I saw Deadmau5 perform was a little over a month ago at San Francisco's Outside Lands music festival. I was fortunate to be in a vantage point that allowed me to see somewhere around 20,000 fans go completely ape shit for the music. Pretty sure I wanted to be in the thick of it, but I tore myself away after five songs to go see Arcade Fire. Still, I'd see him again at the drop of a pin.
