Forming earlier this year after the demise of their other band, Keebo, the trio of Rhapsody Gonzalez (vocals/guitar/synth), Amy Maskell (vocals/guitar/synth), and Sophie Lowe (vocals/drums/synth) has regrouped as Peluché, and they've dropped their infectious debut single, "Ohio."
The indie rock trio takes influence from the likes of Paul Simon (Afro-pop) and Talking Heads (quirky melodies), while adding their own sprinkling of zaniness to create the joyous and carefree "Ohio."
This is bubbly, upbeat indie pop that will have you dancing along with repeated listens.
Top stuff.
