The internet is filled with young producers, and their age is almost always the first thing to be mentioned. It's done with good reason, too. It's a hot selling point and makes the music seem that much more impressive.
DNMO (previously Whompz) is the producer behind this surprising remix of "Superstar." A relative newcomer to the scene, he already has 14K SoundCloud followers, has released an original track, and gone through a re-brand. Oh, and he's fifteen. FIFTEEN!
It's equal parts depressing and impressive to know that someone significantly younger than me is taking on the likes of Krewella, Pegboard Nerds, and NGHTMRE at once. Additionally, the EDM track is not what I expected from such a young producer.
Instead of masking a lack of skill by distracting the listener with overwhelming sounds, DNMO leaves the drop relatively bare, with focus on a percussive groove. He may not have the staying power of the three artists he's remixing just yet, but I'd say this is a great place to start.
