Hot on the heels of their 2016 EP, Rats In Paradise, Toronto act Peeling are back with industries new single "Away From You."
Taken from their forthcoming sophomore EP, 7 Years Of Blood, "Away From You" is a rhythmic burst of garage rock underscored by singer/guitarist Annabelle Lee's understated vocals. Talking with FADER, Lee had this to say about the track:
"'Away From You' is essentially about moving on from a relationship where you still love your partner but need to forge your own path. I wrote it after a romance in my life ended and I felt a bittersweet acceptance rather than devastation and animosity. Making the choice to go my own way was uncomfortable and daunting, but it was the right thing to do. There’s no use in hanging on after the expiry date."
"Away From You" is another wonderful guitar track from Peeling, with 7 Years Of Blood set for release May 26,
