Peach Pit Figure 8

Peach Pit's "Figure 8" is a standout track from their recently released sophomore album. In an oftentimes bleak world of guitar riffs that lack creativity, Peach Pit is a shining beacon of hope that there are still quality riffs to be discovered and listened to.

Much like syrup over a crisp waffle, the buttery vocals in this song from lead-singer, Neil Smith, flow smoothly over the foundation laid by the electric guitar. Dang, I'm kind of impressed with myself with that one. Writing that has me caught up in some weird cravings though, so I'm off to go consume some crispy waffles whilst listening to more crispy guitar riffs.
