Why do we like this?
Experimental electronica producer Mist Glider is on a bit of hot streak this holiday season. The Santa Cruz-based beatsmith delivered his fantastic rework of Adventure Club's "Wait" two weeks back. He followed that beauty up with Neon Sky, a three track downtempo EP released on Bad Panda Records. And now, this glorious premiere of his Passion Pit remix.
Like many Mist Glider tunes as of late, "Carried Away" starts slow, building and building until before you know it's been five minutes and all that's left to do is play the track again. Passion Pit remixes are a dime a dozen, but it doesn't surprise me that Mist Glider would knock this out of the park. His penchant for delivering raw, emotional beats is further cemented with "Carried Away." Cover art is top shelf again, too.
Expect more good vibes from Mist Glider in the New Year. A lot of them.
