Why do we like this?
San Franciscan David Speck is also known as the band Part Time. A few years ago he released a self-titled album that was pretty interesting, and now we have his second effort, an album titled PDA.
On this album, Speck continues to explore his trademark synth sounds to create a sparse and eccentric electronic pop sound reminiscent of the late 80s. This album is chock full of retro-sounding grooves, but ultimately the songs show that Speck is a great songwriter and has a knack for catchy melodies.
