Why do we like this?

"Wide Awake" comes to us via probably my favorite album of 2018 so far: All Dogs Go To Heaven Soundtrack (2018 Remaster). I MEAN Parquet Courts' Wide Awake. My favorite album of 2018 is Parquet Courts' Wide Awake.

Anyway, the album details a dog's escape from the pound into a vicious casino underground, and the subsequent encounters with an orphaned girl, a human, who can understand and communicate with animals.

It's a real treat, and comes recommended from us at Indie Shuffle.
