Why do we like this?
Parov Stelar has a knack for making good music. His style of electro swing is among my favorite, but he has clearly never limited himself to just that field.
Take for example this remix of Lana Del Rey's "Dark Paradise." If you're familiar with the Austrian's work you'll recognize it as uncharacteristic, and yet it stands out as one of the best LDR remixes I've heard.
Similarly, this rework of Marvin Gaye's 1977 classic "Keep On Dancing" demonstrates Parov's versatility. While it apparently took a bit of persuasion to convince Marvin's estate that they should hand over the original, the net result stands as a testament to his skill in and of itself.
If you ever get the chance to see Parov Stelar live, don't pass it up.
