Why do we like this?
There's no better way to start this year than by taking up a genre you're unfamiliar with. It's with this in mind that I introduce you to Austrian producer Parov Stelar, poster boy of electro-swing.
Although the name should be fairly self-explanatory, this is a genre that crosses modern electro with samples taken from 20s and 30s Swing and Jazz.
The track 'Catgroove' is one of the best we've discovered yet, but you can find more electro swing by checking out more of Parov Stelar's extensive back catalogue.
