Parcels remind me of grandmothers. Not the band, but the noun. It's a classic request dating back centuries that elders request youths to help them with the parcels.
"Henry, would you please bring in the parcels?" or, "Eustice Jr., fetch me the parcel from the post office!"
Old people are kooky like that, you know? They come from a different time. Their slang is so different to ours. I imagine their slang making nice decorations on gingerbread cookies, whereas todays 'lit' and 'fam' don't fit so nicely.
