I know I JUST did a post about Parcels, but "Clockscared," the title track from their Clockscared EP, is such a good time, I just had to share.
The 'song' aspect of the track all happens in the first two and a half minutes, before the beautifully breathy vocals and harmonies fall away to introduce a slow, bluesy guitar solo which winds in and out of simple, resonant keys.
The boys don't seem to be rushing to get anywhere, but rather meander through the track, ending the 'jam' with a silk smooth saxophone solo and a slight synth crescendo.
"Clockscared" also enjoyed a wonderfully organic, warbling remix by Moglii a few months ago.
