Why do we like this?

I fell for Paperwhite way back when, so whenever a new song of theirs crops up they're pretty much guaranteed to pique my attention.

"Wanderlust" is the NY band's latest offering. It's a slow, simple synth-pop ballad that hits all the right notes. That said, it teeters on a fine line between sounding nice and sounding boring.

Fortunately for them I'm leaning toward the "nice" side -- though I do hope they get a little bit more adventurous going forward.
