Why do we like this?
Cascine is one of the most acclaimed new labels in the world, constantly putting out left-field music by the likes of Chad Valley and Jensen Sportag.
A new signing to the label is Pandr Eyez, who doesn't quite fit what I would regard as the "Cascine mold." Their music immediately betrays their London background, with a similar melting pot of sounds coming together to make their sound as has been seen with The xx and Jai Paul.
Their music has elements of both of the aforementioned two, although has more dub and soulful leanings, while retaining a listenability that broadly pigeonholes this as "pop." Expect big things.
