Why do we like this?
I am so pleased to be hearing from Panama Wedding after such a bright and prosperous start on their debut single "All of the People" back in July last year. With RAC's Andrew Maury by the side of the New York City-based quintet, they have produced another synth pop gem in "Uma," taken off their debut EP, Parallel Play.
I have no idea what "Uma" means or symbolizes for these guys, but the word itself has this real warmth to it when it is sung so melodically by their lead singer Peter Kirk. It's perfect, considering tomorrow is the first real day of winter for us Australians. Pardon me while I curl up under my covers and have this one on replay.
Parallel Play is out next Tuesday!
