Why do we like this?

"You Stole My Blackout" is the first 2016 release by psych-outfit Palm Honey, a Reading-based psych band that already created quite the buzz around the UK by supporting acts like YAK, The Vryll Society, and Mild High Club.

The song is a funky and psychedelic masterpiece that effortlessly treads the line between pop and rock, all while taking you on a journey to the groovy 60s.

The four-piece takes quite a few handy notes from the airy, psychedelic sounds of decades past; as well as genres like shoegaze, noise, and krautrock. They  effortlessly merge these seemingly disparate worlds and create their very own blend of experimental pop; blessing our ears with a mixture of classic melodies, catchy hooks, epic crescendos, and guitar-driven jams that are bound to get your feet tapping.

The band will play a couple of shows this summer accompanied by further releases.
