Why do we like this?

Palace gives an honest and viscerally quiet performance with "Make You Proud" a ballet of alt-folk and melancholia.

Sometimes a track just takes you on a journey, into the depths of your mind and into the rooms you struggle to go. The rooms where the memories are layered with midnight disappointments and sleepless nights of rolling around with frustrations. "Make You Proud" is a room so relatable and destructive, but made soft, palatable, and subtle by windy guitars, hard crash drums, and warm vocal performance.

"Make You Proud" is an EP single linked with "Rabid Dog," another single from them. On their own, the tracks are immense and affecting, but together they are an anthem.
