Why do we like this?

Yes! This is a goodie. Thanks to our chief editor Dylan for putting me on to this beat by the Canadian producer Oxygen and Rice. 

"Make Moves" is just one song off a 9-track experimental beat-tape entitled A Day in the Life EP, which you can listen to over here.

This track and the whole EP composes of delicate and muffled acoustic samples layered with RZA-like drum programming. 

A lot of ambient Japanese and Oriental sounds are sampled on the EP and remind me a little bit of the Onra's Chinoiseries -- Oxygen and Rice has a slightly more atmospheric approach though. Perfect beats for chilling to, I'd recommend serving with a cup tea.
