Why do we like this?

There was a day and age when R&B-flavored hip-hop got me riled up in all the right ways. This was the hayday of Kid Cudi and Hoodie Allen -- somewhere way back in 2011.

Flash forward to today and I still think I've got a soft spot for the style. Case in point: Outasight's "Invitation." On it, the Yonkers-based artist demonstrates his versatile skill, layering hip-hop rhymes and smooth vocals over practically-perfect R&B instrumentation.

"Invitation" will be on a new full-length album coming out in March of 2015 titled Chasing A Ghost. Keep posted for more tracks off that album down the road!
