Why do we like this?
Time remains constant. Yet music creation expands at a rate faster than we are able to increase our median life expectancy. That means we'll never be able to get through all the music that we want to.
If there's one artist who I've continually come back to, and enjoyed, it's Oumou Sangaré. And, considering we're not going to live long enough to experience all the music that we want to, then isn't it important to seek out exemplary curation? *cough* Indie Shuffle *cough*
Oumou's "Saa Magni" is the perfect way to spend your time. It's the right amount of powerful. It is strong in a way that doesn't affront the senses, but emotively lingers just enough to leave a feeling of purposefulness.
