Why do we like this?
8 years since their last feature, Otoboke Beaver returns to Indie Shuffle with the song "YAKITORI" from their most recent album called Super Champon.
Yakitori contains all the classic markings of any infectious punk song; noisy guitars, cathartic vocals, and a pumping rhythm section. The muted chop of the guitar is introduced after the first scream of the word "Destroy!" and adds a different dynamic element that really emphasizes the driven guitar tone that follows.
The last twenty seconds of the song are completely chaotic and round off the track nicely, recalling the band's signature sound.
