18-year-old charmer, Oscar Welsh, is becoming increasingly popular in the indie pop scene, and for good reason. Think the smoothness of Still Woozy's vocals in combination with the exuberant, pop foundation of Gus Dapperton. As if his age wasn't impressive enough, Welsh records, produces, and mixes his music in his bedroom. He's also from Suffolk, UK, the home town of Ed Sheeran. They're just pumping out talent over there. Is something in the water?
"S.A.D" marks the artist's third single following two explosive releases, "Get Yourself to Sleep" and "Weird Times," which have collectively amassed over 500k streams. Not surprisingly so, as Welsh's discography may currently be short, it sure is sweet. He has asserted that he is here to stay for the long run.
