Browsing over the Facebook page of Oscar Key Sung while doing my research for this post, I couldn't help but notice that Chet Faker liked the link Oscar posted to this track. Given they're both artists out of my hometown, I think it's great when quality Melbourne acts support each other's work. Plus, if Chet thinks this is good, darn right it's going to be, and odds are sky high you're going to like it, too.
There's so much to love about Oscar's work. He has his second EP coming out next month, called Altruism. The lead track "Premonition" got written up on Indie Shuffle back in February and recently this second track "Skip" was unveiled.
Note it's Oscar's own vocals are featured in "Skip" -- you can tell also via the video that just premiered for this track. And speaking of Melbourne earlier, the video features Oscar around the early morning ghost-like streets in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood.
Altruism EP is available for pre-order right now and will officially drop on 1 May.
