His debut EP Holograms was one of my favorite local releases of 2014, so you can bet I've been waiting for new material from Oscar Key Sung.
Due out in April, the Melbourne artist has a new EP on the way, and we've just been treated to a sneak peek of what to expect.
New single "Premonition" is exciting due to both what it has left out as well as what it features, with Key Sung's vocals isolated throughout this punchy number. Paired with simple (but effective) percussion arrangements, the feeling that has been created is raw and emotive -- something that you don't find on overproduced music. While this isn't a surprise given his intelligently created previous works, it's still another big step in the right direction for this brilliant artist.
"Premonition" is the first single taken from Oscar Key Sung's Altruism EP, due out in April.
