Why do we like this?
When I think of bike trails in Oregon, I assume they're going to be beautiful, lined by redwoods, and leading down to a lakeside. And indeed, the album cover of the aptly named Oregon Bike Trails' LP High School Lover reflects just that. So does their music, for that matter.
As summer begins to fade, the folk-pop tunes of "Cayucas" leave me instantly pining for a Northwest vacation. For now, playing this repeatedly may be the closest I'll come. I can take that, though.
Interesting to note that Oregon Bike Trails is Zach Yudin, a man based out of Santa Monica. Thus the beachy sound :-)
