Why do we like this?

OOFJ is an L.A.-based husband and wife duo who met while working together on the music for Lars Von Trier's Melancholia. New single "You're Always Good" features Trentemoller's drummer, and the Concert Master (violinist) of the Royal Danish Opera.

Eerily soaring violins open the track up, and an even spookier falsetto melody soon joins. As the backing rhythm builds and the track begins to drive, a sense of frantic uncertainty follows. The glistening melody is contrasted against the swift beats, capturing your full attention.

The unnerving vibe sort of washes away with the full rhythm, but as soon as the violins re-enter, you're plunged back in again. This track really does take on a pretty huge journey in five minutes, waxing and waning between ominous and angelic.

This is a really interesting track, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from OOFJ.
