Putting these two artists' names next to each other in a sentence feels like putting peanut butter on a burger. It really shouldn't make sense. It's a collaboration you want to mentally reject. Damn, though! It just works perfectly.
Oneohtrix Point Never was given the job of scoring a gritty new A24 film, Good Time, featuring former vampire sweetheart Robert Pattinson. On one of the pieces for the film, OPN collaborated with rock and roll legend Iggy Pop, whose vocals are dark, tense, and honestly, annoyingly reminiscent of Jason Segel singing as Dracula in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
