Why do we like this?

Singer-songwritter One T from Los Angeles has just landed a follow from me with his latest tune "Battle."  While the track is groovy, funky, and powered with soulful vocals, the story on his SoundCloud description made the track even more engaging.

Here's what he wrote,

"I wrote this song to celebrate the life of my friend Max Steinberg. When a group of us went to Israel together for the first time Max felt an immediate connection to the land and people. He stayed in Israel and decided to volunteer himself to their military. He died fighting In Gaza on July of 2014. This is his story."
