Why do we like this?

Olympic Ayres are an Australian duo, Nathan Mifsud and Kamaliza Salamba, producing music from Sydney. "Waiting" is their first release since 2014, which is the last time they appeared on Indie Shuffle. I'm glad they're back making music and back on our site.

Despite being off the scene for a bit, they've managed to stay relevant with a pristine sound embellished with funky bass and optimistic guitar riffs. An enjoyable conjunction of nu-disco and electro-pop.

Welcome back y'all, and I hope this means there are forthcoming releases in our near future.
