Why do we like this?
Sydney duo Olympic Ayres have been one of my favorite local acts since I first came across them a couple of years back. With so much new music coming out, it's hard to keep up while still listening to old records you enjoy -- but I always find time to listen to their first two EPs (Episode I and Episode II) whenever the mood strikes. New music is always better though, so I've been anticipating this day for some time now -- a fresh single from the guys!
Joining forces with one of Australia's most sought-after producers Jean-Paul Fung (Last Dinosaurs, Jinja Safari, Art vs Science etc.), Olympic Ayres have put together a brand new EP, with "Magic" the first taste. Typically upbeat and poppy, the percussion and synth programming sit perfectly in behind Kamaliza Salamba's smooth vocals. Head over to SoundCloud for a free download.
