Imagine we could all keep a mini cheerleader on our shoulder? It would be there, spurring us on. Sounds great, right? This is what comes to mind when I read what Olvo's vision is for his latest album,Limitless Possibilities: "With this record I encourage each individual to be self-confident, to believe in their art and to trace their way without comparing to others."
So maybe we can't mass-manufacture small-sized cheerleaders with mini pom-poms who do flick-flacks on our shoulders while singing 'you've got the spirit.' We can, however, hit play on the beautiful second single off the album, "Never Give Up," and soak up the inspiration.
The Créole lyrics tell the story of a man who went blind from watching particles flickering in the light and yet, he is happy because it will always remain, that they were simply beautiful to watch.
