Why do we like this?

We've given Olivver a lot of support recently, and with good reason. Theirsongs "Attica '71" and "Revvival" stood out as unique and engaging (the former still sits high in my favorites of this year).

"Lucy (Hurt People Hurt People)" is the latest release by the LA-based band. It's a slow, brooding track that easily falls into the "dark pop" category. And to be completely honest: it's not my favorite of the lot.

That said, one bad apple doesn't ruin the batch; I'm confident these guys have more up their sleeves.
