Oliver Tank has been busy. In the two years since the release of his debut EP Dreams, he has opened for the likes of James Blake, Lana Del Rey, and Lorde, as well as frequenting the Australian tour circuit and slowly but surely working on his forthcoming EP, Slow Motion Music.
Today we bring you the first single from that EP, titled "Different Speed" and featuring the production work of much-hyped beatsmith Ta-ku. Continuing in the vein of previous releases, "Different Speed" is a lush, emotional piece, laden with intricate beats and robotic (yet somehow still incredibly heartfelt) vocals.
With more support slots for Active Child and Lorde in the pipeline, as well as appearances at esteemed festivals (like Meredith and Falls) and the release of Slow Motion Music before the end of the year, Oliver Tank is sure to keep rising.
