Why do we like this?
Is this French house music? Maybe not. I mean, Oliver aren't even French -- they're a DJ duo out of LA. But I have a hard time defining this any other way, beyond using generic terms such as "electronic" or "dance."
"Mechanical" is the lead single off their recently released Mechanical EP (via Fools Gold). I was first alerted to the amazingness of this song by Sound Remedy, who hit me up on gmail asking how the hell we hadn't covered it yet. "It's not on Soundcloud yet!" was my response.
But that was a week ago. And today the song is very much so up and alive on Soundcloud. As is the whole EP. And if you're into electronic music, you're probably going to find yourself liking it.
