One of the finest of the up-and-coming Australian producers is Adelaide beatmaster Oisima. In 2012, he completed two EPs -- Dusk Till Dawn and Goddess (which featured the track "In the Mood") -- with a debut full-length album expected later this year. The album's first single, "Everything About Her," has just been released, giving us a glimpse into what to expect.
With such a huge volume of electronic music being produced in Australia, artists with a point-of-difference often stand out. Oisima is one of those. Clearly a passionate, deep thinker, his music is carefully crafted, and his love of jazz and hip-hop filters through into each of his releases. "Everything About Her" features the vocalist Annabel Weston, and Oisima's beat-making fits effortlessly around the songbird's warm, sparkling tones.
