Why do we like this?
Danish electro-pop act Oh Land (by name, Nanna Øland Fabricius) relocated to Brooklyn from the Netherlands in early 2010 with hopes of taking the music world by storm. A former ballerina, Nanna was picked up by Sony's Epic Records and released her first EP in September.

Oh Land is a one-lady show through and through: she writes and performs everything solo (using a drum machine and synth live), yet produces a sound that has taken ears the world over by pleasant surprise. Her debut album will be released early next year, but in the meanwhile, enjoy these two tracks featured for today's Song(s) of the Day!
