At first this song made me think: "Ehh, this sounds a lot like that new Lana Del Rey song that came out earlier. And I'm not sure I'm into that right now..."
Fortunately for Ofelia K, I decided to give it a little longer. That chord progression is, after all, quite stimulating to the eardrums.
With every progressive bar that "As A Bell" passes through, the song does a better and better job of winning me over. Perhaps the perfect description would be to call it a "grower," though I'm a bit weary given the uh, sexual connotation of that phrase. Either way, by the time the climax at the 2:45 mark rolls around, I'm pretty sure you'll have completely enjoyed the ride.
