Why do we like this?

Rarely do I check out sponsored posts from artists I don't follow on Facebook, but one day a Haywyre video popped into my newsfeed. It was a video of him covering Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal," and he absolutely killed it. I was hooked immediately. 

On his latest release, a new official remix of "All We Need" by Odesza, he infuse a funky house vibe with future bass. What originally got me hooked was his early '90s funk influences, and this track is not shy by any means.
