Why do we like this?

Honestly folks, I'm really digging the direction that hip-hop is going these days. It's not simply because lyricists like Kendrick Lamar, Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper are killing it -- it's that the production of the tracks behind them is at an all-time high.

Octave Minds is the latest to join the game, and there's probably a good reason the quality's so good: the act is a duo made up of Chilly Gonzalez and Boys Noize. Seriously, how much more killer could a combo be?
